Welcome! I'm Nickey, a working mom of three kids, a wife, and dog mom. Anyone else have mornings that start with the sound of the alarm blaring, like a fire drill? I’ll admit I'm more often woke by sounds of the kids running to let me know they're awake or the dog barking to summon us downstairs for her breakfast. Then it's rushing to get ready and out the door to school, work and sports.

At the end of the day, I try and make a little bit of me time each night.....Enter a few of my favorite things: coffee, chocolate, and a healthy dose of nostalgia from my favorite shows like Gilmore Girls and Friends. Who doesn't love a few laughs after a long day? It’s the adulting equivalent of hiding in the bathroom for five minutes of peace!

So there you have it—a little glimpse into my life. Going through life’s ups and downs with my family at my side, making memories—or something like that. Sometimes, it just feels like I’m cultivating a pile of laundry. Every day brings its challenges, like trying to remember if I took the chicken out of the freezer or if we're having pasta for the third time this week!
